Use 6V4058 Universal Extension To Remove And Install Starter Bolts{0612}
Usage:
3400 Series Truck Engines
On the 3400 Series Truck Engines, the truck frame rail prevents easy access to the bolts that hold the starter on the engine. Use the 6V4058 Universal Extension to remove and install these bolts. This extension socket can also be used for general shop purposes.
The 6V4058 Universal Extension has a 5/8" double hex socket on a 152.4 mm (6") extension with a 1/2" square drive. The spring collar on the back side of the socket holds the socket in several different positions until it is engaged on the head of the bolt. This tool makes it possible to tighten starter bolts to the 205 N·m (150 lb ft) specification.
