SERVICE MAGAZINE, FEBRUARY 23, 1981, PAGE 15. In the article, "Changes Made To Power Cord Plugs. On 5P6532 And 5P6533 Reader Projectors," the part numbers under "Later Model Reader Projectors" are wrong.
The 6V3181 Adapter Cord is for 12-volt applications, and the 6V3179 Power Cord is for 110/230-volt applications. Make this correction in the chart.
--------------- END SUPPLEMENT ---------------
The electric power cord plugs on the 5P6532 Reader Projector (220V/12V) and the 5P6533 Reader Projector (110V/12V) for microfiche have been changed. Earlier models of both reader projectors have one six-prong male plug located at the back on the outside of the reader projector.
Later models of both reader projectors have two male plugs located at the back inside the reader projector. See the illustration. One of these plugs has 2 prongs for 12 volt electric connections. The other plug has 3 prongs for 110 volt and 230 volt connections.
Similar changes have been made to the power cords for both reader projectors. Later power cords can not be used on earlier reader projectors. Order replacement cords according to the part numbers shown in the chart that follows.
Later model 5P6532 and 5P6533 Reader Projectors for microfiche have two plugs.
