Start By:

  1. Remove the pressure control valve.

Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, thoroughly clean the exterior of the components to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

  1. Use a suitable press and compress the adjusting screw before removing retaining ring (1).

  2. Use Tooling (A) to remove retaining ring (1). Remove retaining ring (1).

    ------ WARNING! ------

    Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.

    Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.

    Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.


  3. Slowly release the suitable press and remove the suitable press.

  4. Remove adjusting screw (2), O-ring seal (3), and spring (4).

  5. Remove dowel (5) and spring (6).

  6. Remove backup ring (7), O-ring seal (8), O-ring seal (9), backup ring (10), O-ring seal (11), backup ring (12), and O-ring seal (13).

  7. Remove spool (14) and valve housing (15).
