Introduction

The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.

Problem

Small amounts of condensation may develop inside the sight gauge. Oil can splash up against sight gauge during machine operation.

Solution

The condensation and oil drops do not cause a product defect, there is no need to replace the 375-2060 Sight Gauge. The sight gauge does not have a seal which may cause condensation inside.

If there is an incorrect oil reading failure, create a Service Information Management System (SIMS) entry for the failed part to generate a "Send-It-Back" (SIB) request. A SIB request will be issued to you through the SIB process after the SIMS entry is created. Submit the failed part and reference CPI number 358088 to SIMS.
