Antenna (Satellite) - Check

Note: To access the areas required to perform this procedure, a portable access system (ladder, stair assembly, man lift, or other portable access system) that is suitable and compliant to local regulations may be necessary.

Perform the following to check satellite antenna:

  • Ensure that the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) antennas have an unobstructed view of the sky.

  • Ensure that the antenna mast pole is not cracked or bent.

  • Ensure that GNSS antennas are firmly attached to mast.

  • Check for cuts or pinches on the GNSS antenna cables.

  • Ensure that the connectors are not separating from the cables.

If the antenna has been moved, removed, or replaced, then refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Calibrations for Maintenance"
