- 从飞轮壳上拆下速度传感器。 检查传感器端头的状况。 检查是否有磨损和杂质。
- 清理传感器表面的金属切屑和其它碎屑。
- 把速度传感器安装到飞轮壳上。 瞬时针旋转速度传感器直到传感器接触到飞轮齿圈的轮齿上。

- 再把传感器逆时针旋转1/2圈(180度)。 保持传感器和飞轮齿圈的轮齿之间的间隙为0.56 mm (0.022 inch)至0.84 mm (0.033 inch)之间。 拧紧锁紧螺母至扭矩为45 ± 7 N·m (33 ± 5 lb ft)。
