New Stroke Limiter Collars Are Available for 16M, 16M3, 18M3, and 24M Motor Graders {5223} Caterpillar

New Stroke Limiter Collars Are Available for 16M, 16M3, 18M3, and 24M Motor Graders {5223}

Usage:

24M B93
Motor Grader
16M (S/N: B9H1-UP; R9H1-UP)
16M Series 3 (S/N: E9Y1-UP; N9Y1-UP)
18M Series 3 (S/N: N9A1-UP; E9W1-UP)
24M (S/N: B931-UP; B9K1-UP)

Description Of Change: The new Stroke Limiter Collars will reduce the incidence of the drawbar to frame contact while lifting the blade. The Collars will reduce the intensity when contact of drawbar to frame is made. The Collars will not stop the drawbar to frame contact, but will limit the occurrence.

The blade clearance with the ground will be reduced when the collars are installed and the blade is in the “carry” position (off the ground). The Stroke Limiter Collars are designed for easy installation and removal with hand tools.

The Collars are wear items. The clamps should be inspected regularly for damage or loosening hardware.

Adaptable To: The Collar Kits are adaptable to machines listed above.

The Required Parts are listed in Table 1. The Parts are ordered as the Kits.
