Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the check valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Check Valve - Remove".

Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, thoroughly clean the exterior of the components to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

  1. Remove plug (1) and O-ring seal (2).

  2. Remove O-ring seals (3).

    ------ WARNING! ------

    Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.

    Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.

    Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.


  3. Remove retaining ring (4), guide (5), spring (6), and stem (7).
