Control Valve - Disassemble

Start By:
- Remove the control valve from the hammer. Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly, "Control Valve - Remove".
- Remove the pressure control valve from the hammer. Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly, "Pressure Control Valve - Remove".
- Remove the check valve from the hammer. Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly, "Check Valve - Remove".

- Remove bolts (1).
- Use two of bolts (1) as pusher bolts to separate cover (2) from control valve (3).
Note: Tighten bolts (1) evenly and in an alternating order.

- Repeat Step 1 and Step 3 for the remaining cover.

Illustration 4 g02647165 - Remove spool (5) from valve bushing (6). Spool (5) can be removed from either side of the control valve.
Note: Note the orientation of the “X” marks on the spool and the valve body for installation purposes.
