The default state for the optional E162 High Boost Pressure is Off. However, the event can be turned On in the engine's monitoring system with Caterpillar Electronic Technician (ET).
If the optional event is turned On, add 100 kPa (14 psi) to the desired trip point. This addition accounts for atmospheric pressure. This will help to avoid activating a false E162 High Boost Pressure.
