Piston Motor (Feed Roller) - Disassemble

Usage:

HH45 2JZ

Disassembly Procedure

Remove the feed roller motor from the harvester head. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Feed Roller Arm - Disassemble". Perform the following steps in order to disassemble the feed roller motor.

  1. Place the motor on a suitable bench.

    (1) Support bearing. (2) Piston cylinder. (3) Cam. (4) Motor housing. (5) bolt.

  1. Remove 12 bolts (5) .

  1. Separate support bearing (1), cam (3), and motor housing (4). Piston cylinder (2) should remain in cam (3). Proceed with the disassembly of each section.

    (6) Distribution valve. (7) Seal ring. (8) Seal ring. (9) Motor housing. (10) O-ring. (11) Cap. (12) Screw. (13) Spring. (14) Seal ring.

  1. Retrieve motor housing (4). Remove distribution valve (6) from motor housing (9). Remove six springs (13) from distribution valve (6) .

  1. Remove seal ring (7), seal ring (8), and seal ring (14) from motor housing (9) .

  1. Remove eight screws (12). Remove cap (11). Remove O-ring (10). Motor housing (4) is now disassembled completely.

    (15) Piston housing. (16) Piston kit. (17) Lock washer and pin. (18) O-ring. (19) Cam. (20) O-ring.

  1. Retrieve cam (3) with piston cylinder (2) still installed. Remove O-ring (20) from cam (19). Remove O-ring (18) from cam (19) .

  1. Remove piston cylinder (15) from cam (19) .

  1. Remove two lock washers and pins (17) from piston housing (15) .

  1. Remove eight piston kits (16) from piston housing (15). This completes disassembly of cam (3) and piston housing (2) .

    (21) Motor shaft. (22) Seal ring. (23) Bearing. (24) Bearing housing. (25) Scraper. (26) Bearing. (27) Support ring. (28) Seal ring. (29) Snap ring.

  1. Retrieve support bearing (1). Remove snap ring (29) from motor shaft (21). Remove seal ring (28) and support ring (27) from motor shaft (21) .

  1. Remove motor shaft (21) from bearing housing (24) .

  1. Remove bearing (26) and scraper (25) from bearing housing (24) .

  1. Remove seal ring (22) and bearing (23) from bearing housing (24). This completes the disassembly of support bearing (1) .

Clean all parts. Check the condition of all seals and of all components. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacements.
