- Install a new d-ring seal (22) .

- Install a new O-ring (21) on the outside diameter of bearing (20) .

- Install bearing (20) on splined hub (18) .
- Install snap ring (19) on splined hub (18) .
- Turn over the rotating housing. Install the splined hub and bearing (18) on the housing.

- Install cover (17) .

- Install retaining ring (16) .
- Install converter turbine (15) on rotating housing (5) .

- Heat up the bearing (13) to 135 °C (275 °F). Install the bearing (13) on impeller (9) .

- Install drive gear (3) on impeller (9) .

- Install twelve bolts (12) . The torque for bolts (12) is 30 ± 5 N·m (22 ± 4 lb ft).
- Install a new seal ring (11) .

- Install six spring pins (10) .
- Carefully install stator carrier (4) on impeller (9) .

- Install two clamp plates (7) .

- Install retaining ring (8) .
- Install six socket head bolts (6) . The torque for bolts (6) is 30 ± 5 N·m (22 ± 4 lb ft).

- Install drive gear (3) and stator carrier (4) on rotating housing (5) .

- Install Tooling (A) , as shown. Attach a hoist and suitable chains to Tooling (A) .

- Install eighteen bolts (2) and washers. The torque for bolts (2) is 30 ± 5 N·m (22 ± 4 lb ft).
- Install Tooling (A) , as shown. Attach a hoist and suitable chains to Tooling (A) , as shown.

- Use M10 Guide Bolts when you are lowering transmission cover (2) straight down on the torque converter. The weight of the transmission cover is 150 kg (330 lb).
- Install six bolts (1) . The torque for bolts (1) is 55 ± 10 N·m (40 ± 7 lb ft).
End By: Connect the torque converter to the transmission. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Transmission and Torque Converter - Connect".
