Power Train Guard (Transmission) - Remove and Install

Usage:

IT38G 1CW

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".

  1. Position a suitable floor jack under front guard (2) .

  1. Remove bolts (1) .

  1. Use the floor jack to carefully remove front guard (1). The weight of front guard (2) is 23 kg (50 lb).

  1. Position a suitable floor jack under rear guard (4) .

  1. Remove bolts (3) .

  1. Use the floor jack to carefully remove rear guard (4). The weight of rear guard (4) is 34 kg (75 lb).

Installation Procedure

  1. Use a suitable floor jack to carefully install rear guard (4). The weight of rear guard is 34 kg (75 lb).

  1. Install bolts (3) that hold rear guard (4) to the frame.

  1. Use a suitable floor jack to carefully install front guard (1). The weight of front guard (2) is 23 kg (50 lb).

  1. Install bolts (1) that hold front guard (2) to the frame.

End By: Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
