Batteries give off flammable fumes that can explode. Do not smoke when observing electrolyte level.

Electrolyte is an acid, and can cause personal injury if it contacts skin or eyes.

------WARNING!--------

At the proper charging rate, in a moderate climate, the batteries should not require more than 2 ounces (60 cc) of water per cell every 2 weeks.

1. Clean the top of the batteries with a clean cloth. Keep the battery terminals clean and coated with grease.

2. Inspect the electrolyte level in each of the battery cells. Maintain the level to the bottom of the plug openings with distilled water.
