NOTE: This Program can only be administered after a failure occurs. The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS0710" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use " Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

In some applications, the existing engine vibration damper/crankshaft pulley may not reduce vibrations enough on certain D40D and D400D Articulated Trucks. A failure of the torque converter drive flange may result.

Parts Needed
- 1 - 2P4645 Damper Assembly
Action Required
NOTE: Do not remove the radiator.
Remove the air shroud group.
Do not disconnect the lights. Unbolt the light brackets and lay them to the side.
Remove the (wire) fan guard assembly.
Loosen the vee belts.
Remove the existing engine vibration damper/crankshaft pulley.
Install the new 2P4645 Damper Assembly and the remainder of the parts.
