A new coolant flow switch is available for the above machines. The new switch provides improved reliability.

The new 9W2343 Switch Assembly can be used to replace either 6N5284 or 6T9315 Switch Assembly. The 6V3000 Sure-Seal® Kit is required to install the new switch assembly in place of the 6N5284 Switch Assembly.

The 6N5284 Switch Assembly has one screw that connects to the EMS panel COOLANT FLOW input. The switch is grounded through its case. Installation of the new switch requires the addition of a ground wire.

The 9W2343 and 6T9315 Switch Assemblies are not grounded through the case. They have two wires with a Sure-Seal® connector. The additional wire is the ground.

Therefore, the 6V3000 Sure-Seal® Kit is required to make up the mating connector and ground connector for replacing the 6N5284 Switch Assembly.
