New Cylinder Heads Are More Rigid And Stronger

D342 Engines
Description of Change: New, stronger cylinder heads are available for use on D342 Engines. The new head casting has more material in the water passage areas than the former head. This makes the bottom surface stronger and more rigid. Because of this, a more even load (or force) is put on the combustion gas seal in the head gasket.
Adaptable As: The new heads are direct replacements for all the former heads which are canceled.
