Usage:
Steel retainer clips that will prevent separation of Sure Seal Connectors are now available. The assembled connector is installed in the clip to keep it fastened. Illustration 1 shows a typical in-line clip installation.

There are three types of retainer clips for use in different applications. One type has a hole for a 3/8" bolt so, when installed, the clip will give additional support for the wire harness. The other two types of clips are for in-line use, one of which has a strap that fastens around the wire harness. Illustration 2 shows the three types of retainer clips.

The retainer clips are available in sizes that fit the Sure Seal Connectors as shown in the chart which follows.
