Muffler - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure
Start By:
- Remove the counterweight. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Counterweight - Remove and Install".
- Remove the hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Remove and Install".
- Remove bolts (2) and panel assembly (1) .

- Loosen bolts (13). Remove nuts (11) .

- Reposition tube assembly (12) .
- Disconnect nut (14) and tube assembly (15) from the muffler.

- Remove bolts (16). Remove the muffler from the machine. The weight of the muffler is approximately 25 kg (55 lb).

Installation Procedure
- Position the muffler onto the machine and install bolts (16). The weight of the muffler is approximately 25 kg (55 lb).

- Connect nut (14) and tube assembly (15) onto the muffler.

- Reposition tube assembly (12) and install nuts (11) .

- Tighten bolts (13) .
- Position guard assembly (9) and install bolts (10) .
