The warning labels are located on the side plates on each side of the pulverizer.

(1) Flying debris can cause personal injury. Stay clear at least 10 m (32 ft).

(2) Do not operate the machine unless you read the instructions and warnings that are in the Operation and Maintenance Manual. Do not operate the machine unless you understand the instructions and the warnings in the Operation and Maintenance Manual. Failure to follow the warnings could result in personal injury or death. Consult any Catepillar dealer for replacement manuals. Proper care is your responsibility.

(3) The operation of the pulverizer causes concrete to break. Wear protective glasses in order to avoid injury to your eyes. A Falling Object Protective Structure is required in order to protect the operator from flying debris. Keep the windows and the doors closed during operation of the pulverizer.

There are several specific safety signs on the attachment. The exact locations of the safety signs are reviewed in this section. The locations of hazards are reviewed in this section. You must take the time in order to become familiar with the safety signs.

All of the safety signs must be legible. Clean the signs or replace the signs if you cannot read the words. Clean the signs or replace the signs if you cannot see the pictures. Clean the labels with a cloth, water and soap. Do not use solvent, gasoline, etc..

Replace damaged labels. Replace missing labels or labels that cannot be read. If a label is on a part that is replaced, install a new label on the replaced part. Consult your Caterpillar dealer for the labels.
