Engine Speed Governing
Heinzmann Helanos III Governor
This speed control system consists of a digital controller that operates an electric actuator. The fuel to the engine is controlled by the governor speed setpoint. The controller includes following features:
- 3 speed ramps
- Idle engine speed setpoint
- Maximum engine speed setpoint
- Starting fuel limiting
- Programming and diagnostic functions by hand-held programmer or personal computer
- Output signals
- A power supply with backup batteries
