A New Procedure in Order to Replace the Tube Assembly on the Frame of the 797 and the 797B Off-Highway Truck is Now Available {7051, 7960}

A new procedure for replacing the 148-9195 Tube As with the new 350-1675 Tube As on the 797 and the 797B is now available.

The new procedure will help to prevent failure of the tube assembly. Refer to Special Instruction, REHS5071, "Field Procedure in Order to Replace the Tube Assembly on the Frame of the 797 and the 797B Off-Highway Truck" for instructions on performing the procedure.

The new procedure is adaptable to 5YW1-UP and JSM1-UP.

The Special Instruction is available through the service information system (SIS) and through the literature distribution system at your local Caterpillardealer.
