Usage:
1. Drain the coolant from the engine.
2. Disconnect the radiator hose from the regulator housing.
3. Remove the two bolts that hold elbow (1) to regulator housing (2), and move the elbow away from the regulator housing.
4. Remove the bolts that hold regulator housing (2) to the cylinder head and remove the regulator housing.
5. Remove water temperature regulator (3) from the regulator housing (2).
6. Remove seal (4) from regulator housing (2).
NOTE: The following steps are for the installation of the water temperature regulator.
7. Use tool (A) to install the seal in regulator housing (2) with the lip of the seal down. Put clean oil on the lip of the seal.
8. Install water temperature regulator (3) in regulator housing (2).
9. Put gasket and regulator housing (2) in position on the cylinder and install the bolts.
10. Put gasket and elbow (1) in position on regulator housing (2) and install the bolts that hold it.
11. Connect the radiator hose to the regulator housing.
12. Fill the engine with coolant to the correct level. See Maintenance Manual.
