Usage:
1. Disconnect tube assembly (2) from the fuel ratio control.
2. Cut governor lockwire (3).
3. Remove two bolts (1) from the fuel ratio control.
4. Move the fuel ratio control (4) toward the front of the engine and remove it from the governor.
5. Put the gasket and the fuel ratio control in position on the governor. Make sure bolt (5) is engaged in the stop collar of the governor.
6. Install the two bolts that hold fuel ratio control (4) in place.
7. Connect tube assembly (2) to the fuel ratio control.
8. Make an adjustment to the fuel ratio control. See FUEL RATIO CONTROL SETTING in TESTING AND ADJUSTING.
9. Install a new governor lockwire.
Disassemble Fuel Ratio Control
start by:
a) remove fuel ratio control
1. Remove bolts (1) and remove the cover.
2. Remove the springs, valve assemblies and retainers from the housing.
3. Remove washer (3) and diaphragm (2) from the valve assembly.
4. Remove the roll pin from the end of the valve and remove retainer (4) and the O-ring seal from the valve.
Assemble Fuel Ratio Control
1. Install the O-ring seal and retainer (1) on the valve. Install the roll pin in the end of the valve.
2. Install diaphragm (2) and washer (3) on the retainer.
3. If a replacement is necessary, install new seals on valve assembly (4) and put clean oil on the seals.
4. Install valve assembly (4), retainer (5), springs (6) and (7), valve assembly (8) and spring (9) in housing (11) as shown.
5. Put cover (10) in position with the groove in the cover in position over the ring around the edge of the diaphragm. Install the bolts that hold the cover in place.
