The torque specification called for in Step 43 is incorrect, and the final sentence should be deleted. The Service Magazine Supplement Reference indicates incorrectly that the tightening specification only applies to the bolts adjacent to the bevel gear. Step 43 should read as follows:
43. Tighten bearing cap bolts to a torque of 475 ± 50 N·m (351 ± 37 lb ft).
