NOTE: This Program can be administered either before or after a failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS4659" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. if administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "T" as the SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

Action Required
1. Remove the existing rear 1G5938 or 7X8019 Scraper Assembly.
2. Refer to the Illustration. Assemble the new scraper assembly as shown in Detail "B" of the Illustration. Do not tighten the 1K6872 Nuts. The 773002 Scraper Blade will need to be adjusted once the assembly is installed.
3. Install the rear scraper assembly. Shim as required to take up any additional clearance between the assembly and the yoke.
4. Once the assembly is in place, adjust the scraper blade 9.4 to 12.7 mm (.38 to .50") away from the drum.
5. Replace the existing 980078 Bar (front) with a new wider 980078 Bar (same part number). The 773002 Scraper Blade should be positioned to the same dimension as the rear scraper bar.
