General Calibration Information - Cat ET

Usage:

301.8 H8X

Introduction

Some of the components that are connected to the electronic control modules can be calibrated by using Caterpillar® Electronic Technician (Cat ET).

The calibration of a component allows the ECM to determine the correct output level. The calibration also allows the ECM to determine the correct input signal of displacement.
