Adding the Jacket Water Coolant Pressure Monitor to the Digital Control Unit {191W, 7451}

The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.
Problem
The jacket water pressure alarm map changed between software revisions and created nuisance alarms.
Solution
Disable the Jacket Water Pressure Alarm in the ECM and add a new alarm map in the Digital Control Unit configuration.
- Use a Comm Adapter to connect to the primary ECM using Cat® Electronic Technician (Cat ET). Click Service under the file menu and select Monitoring System.
