Fan Drive - Remove and Install - Lower Fan Drive

Usage:

C32 PAE

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the belt guard. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Belt Guard - Remove and Install".

  1. Remove the belts. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belts - Inspect/Adjust/Replace".

  2. Remove bolts (1). Remove shaft (2).

  3. Attach a suitable lifting device onto bracket assembly (4). The weight of the bracket assembly is approximately 35 kg (77 lb).

  4. Remove bolts (6) and bracket assembly (4).

Installation Procedure

  1. Attach a suitable lifting device onto bracket assembly (4). The weight of the bracket assembly is approximately 35 kg (77 lb).

  2. Install bracket assembly (4) and bolts (3).

  3. Install shaft (2) and install bolts (1).

  4. Install the belts. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belts - Inspect/Adjust/Replace".

End By:

  1. Install the belt guard. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Belt Guard - Remove and Install".
