A New Oil Cooler Is Now Used for Certain3516C HD Marine Engines {1378}

Usage:

3516C JTS
Engine:
3516C (S/N: PAG1-UP; JTS1-UP)

Description of Change: The new oil cooler requires a new oil pump relief valve spring and new oil cooler bypass valve spring to maintain the correct system pressure.

Adaptable To: The new 191-9336 Oil Cooler Core replaces the existing 373-6537 Engine Oil Cooler and 10R-5667 Engine Oil Cooler. The new springs that are used with the oil cooler are 471-0040 Oil pump relief valve spring and 471-2751 Oil cooler bypass spring .

The new engine oil cooler is adaptable back to first production on the serial numbers listed above.

Refer to Table 1 for the new and former part numbers.
