Engine Oil Filter

Typical example

  1. Before the engine oil filter is installed, place a thin film of clean engine oil on the face of the seal.

  2. Tighten the engine oil filter by hand until the seal contacts the mounting face of the cylinder block.

  3. Tighten the engine oil filter by hand according to the instructions that are shown on the filter. Do not overtighten the engine oil filter.
