- Disconnect harness assembly (1).
- Remove bolts (2) and cover (3). Remove bolts (4) and guard assembly (5).

- Remove the remaining bolts (6). Reposition vibration damper (7) onto Tooling (A). Attach a suitable lifting device to vibration damper (7). The weight of vibration damper (7) is approximately
186 kg (410 lb) . Remove vibration damper (7). - Remove Tooling (A).

- Remove remaining bolts (8) and bolts (9). Reposition adapter (10) onto Tooling (B). Attach a suitable lifting device to adapter (10). The weight of adapter (10) is approximately
29 kg (65 lb) . Remove adapter (10). - For information on rebuilding vibration dampers, refer to Reuse and Salvage Guidelines, SEBF8152, "Procedures to Rebuild Vibration Dampers for 3600 Family of Engines".

- Install vibration damper (7) in the reverse order of removal.
- Apply Tooling (C) to the threads and mounting surface of bolts (8).
- Apply Tooling (C) to the threads and mounting surface of bolts (6). Tighten bolts (6) to a torque of
1150 ± 150 N·m (848 ± 111 lb ft) .
