Description of Change: The new lip seal design, part of the input transfer gear group, has improved contamination exclusion capabilities to prevent leaking of the lip seal. The service life of the lip seal will also be increased by the new seal design.

The new 361-7171 Lip Type Seal (4), 361-7172 Wear Sleeve Seal (2), 362-1116 Bearing Cage (3) and 158-0425 Yoke (1) are part of 246-2648 Transfer Gear Gp .

The 361-7171 Lip Type Seal replaces the former 223-9743 Lip Type Seal and 362-1116 Bearing Cage replaces the former 271-1570 Bearing Cage .

The 158-0425 Yoke and 361-7172 Wear Sleeve Seal replaces the former 362-1117 Yoke As in the 246-2648 Transfer Gear Gp .

The new 361-7171 Lip Type Seal (4) is adaptable to the machines and effective in production with the machines that are listed in Table 2.
