A New Water Temperature Regulator Housing Is Now Available for Certain C15 and C18 Industrial Engines {1355, 1393}

The new regulator housing reduces heat loss by eliminating coolant flow across a closed thermostat .
Replace the old 343-8741 Housing Manifold with the new 417-2952 Regulator Housing if overcooling is experienced. If repeated Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) regeneration issues are experienced due to low coolant temperature, update to the 417-2952 Regulator Housing .
An external vent line will also have to be added to the new regulator housing. The vent line goes from the regulator housing to the shunt tank.
The new 417-2952 Regulator Housing is adaptable back to the first production of the listed engines.
