Air Cleaner Housing - Remove and Install

Usage:

C7.1 JME

Removal Procedure


NOTICE

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.

Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.


  1. The engine can start automatically. Ensure that the power supply is isolated before any service or repairs is performed.

  2. Disconnect hose (1) from bracket (2).

  3. Loosen clamp (5) and clamp (7). Remove hose assembly (6) from air cleaner (3) and the turbocharger.

  4. Remove bolts (4) (not shown). There are four bolts in total.

  5. Remove air cleaner housing (3) from the mounting bracket for the air cleaner housing.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install air cleaner housing (3) in the reverse order of removal.
