Control System - Remove and Install - M.C.S. Panel

Removal Procedure


NOTICE

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.

Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.


  1. The engine can start automatically. Ensure that the power supply is isolated before any service or repairs is performed.

  2. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

  3. Disconnect harness assemblies (1).

  4. Remove bolts (2) and remove cover (3).

    Note: Label harness assemblies (4) for reinstallation.

  5. Disconnect harness assemblies (4). Route harness assembly (4) through opening as indicated in Illustration 3.

  6. Remove nuts (5). The weight of control system (6) is approximately 40 kg (88 lb). Use two people to remove control system (6).

Installation Procedure


NOTICE

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.

Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.


  1. Install control system (6) in the reverse order of removal.

    1. Tighten nuts (5) to a torque of 44 N·m (33 lb ft).
