Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Position auxiliary water pump (3) on the front housing. Install nuts (1).
- Apply Tooling (A) to the O-ring seal on cover (5). Install the O-ring seal, cover (5), and bolts (4) on auxiliary water pump (3).
- Position the O-ring seal and elbow (7) on auxiliary water pump (3). Install bolts (6) and band clamp (8). Tighten the band clamp to a torque of
7.3 ± 0.5 N·m (65 ± 4 lb in) . - Connect tube assembly (2) to auxiliary water pump (3).
