Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the floorplate. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Floorplate - Remove and Install".

Note: Put identification marks on all wires for installation purposes.

1. Open the left engine guard.

2. Disconnect the batteries.
   Show/hide table

3. Remove bolt (1) and the washer.

4. Disconnect cables (2) and (3).

5. Disconnect wire (4).

6. Remove bolts (5) and washers.

7. Remove guard (6).

8. Pull belt tightener (7) backward in order to remove belt (10).

9. Remove bolts (9) and washers.

10. Remove alternator (8).

Installation Procedure

1. Install alternator (8) with washers and bolts (9).

2. Pull belt tightener (7) backward in order to install belt (10).

3. Install guard (6) with washers and bolts (5).

4. Connect wire (4).

5. Connect cables (3) and (2).

6. Install the washer and bolt (1).

7. Close the left engine guard.

8. Connect the batteries.

End By:

1. Install the floorplate. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Floorplate - Remove and Install".
