D10R Track-Type Tractor Caterpillar

D10R Track-Type Tractor factory coolant fill changed to Extended Life Coolant (ELC) effective with (S/N: 3KR704). The system may be maintained as a Diesel Engine Antifreeze/Coolant (DEAC) system without changing the coolant. DEAC and ELC may be mixed, but the advantage of ELC will be lost. See the section “Contamination of the ELC Cooling System” for maintenance of a DEAC system. However, maintaining an ELC system is preferred. See the sections “Coolant Recommendations” and “ELC Cooling System Maintenance”.
