Start By:
- Remove the camshaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Camshaft - Remove and Install".

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Use Tooling (A) to remove lifters (1).
Note: Ensure that the lifters are marked with the appropriate cylinder number for installation purposes.
