Diverter Control Group

Usage:

NOTE: Apply 1U-8801 Rust Preventative coating to all rod ends, pins, locknuts, adjusting threads, and pin holes.

NOTE: Drive on stamped end of bearings only.

NOTE: Bulkhead nuts must clear seals without damage to seals.

(2) Torque for cable assembly nuts ... 38 ± 7 N·m (28 ± 5 lb ft)

(4) Torque for one nut ... 12 ± 4 N·m (9 ± 3 lb ft)

(5) Torque for one nut ... 12 ± 4 N·m (9 ± 3 lb ft)

(6) Torque for one nut ... 12 ± 4 N·m (9 ± 3 lb ft)

(9) Torque for one nut ... 8 ± 3 N·m (71 ± 26 lb in)

Adjustment Procedure

1. Put ports (B) in valve group (3) in the blocked position, (B1).

2. Put attachment diverter valve control handle (1) in the down position, [(A), (front attachment position)].

3. Loosen nut (9) and adjust rod end (8) until pin (7) can be freely installed through the rod end and lever.

4. Tighten nut (9) to correct torque.
