Description of Change: An improved air silencer is available for turbochargers on 3600 Engines. The improved silencer is more resistant to damage from vibration and this will provide a longer service life.

Adaptable To: The new air silencer is for use with 3600 Engines that are equipped with the turbochargers that are listed in Table 1.

The former 159-4507 Air Cleaner Gp is cancelled and replaced by the 246-3232 Inlet Silencer. If new 246-3234 Segments are replaced, the 246-3237 Screen As and the 246-3236 Silencer Shell must also be replaced. Refer to Table 2.
