NOTE: This Program can be administered either before or after a failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS8065" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "T" as the SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The 6I9888 Wedges and 6I9889 Cap Assemblies used on the idlers of certain D10N Tractors will no longer be serviced. Whenever the undercarriage of these tractors need service, these wedges and caps may need to be changed.

Action Required
If a D10N Tractor equipped with 6I9888 Wedges and 6I9889 Cap Assemblies requires undercarriage service, remove the 6I9888 Wedges and 6I9889 Cap Assemblies and install new 1098016 Wedges and 1098014 Cap Assemblies. Refer to the February 15, 1993 Service Magazine article "New Idler Mounting Caps" for installation procedures.
