Usage:
All Vehicle Engines Equipped With Model 3LM Schwitzer Turbochargers
Description of Change: The piston ring, used at the turbine end of model 3LM Schwitzer Turbochargers, is now made of chromium alloy. The former piston ring used at this location was made from cast iron. The material in the new piston ring has more resistance to heat and wear than the material in the former piston ring.
Adaptable As: The new 1N3806 Piston Ring is a direct replacement for the former 4N9852 Piston Ring which is canceled. All parts service cartridge groups and cartridge repair kits will have the improved piston ring.
