Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Connect the steering frame lock.

1. Remove screws (1) and the washers.

2. Loosen screws (2).

3. Remove screws (3) and the washers. Remove cover assembly (4).

4. Cut cable strap (5). Disconnect harness assembly (6).

5. Disconnect hose (8). Open cover (7).
   Show/hide table

6. Remove nut (10) and the washer. Remove wiper arm assembly (9).

7. Remove wiper cap (12).

8. Remove nut (11).

9. Support rear wiper motor assembly (14) and remove nut (13).

10. Remove rear wiper motor assembly (14).

Installation Procedure

1. Install rear wiper motor assembly (14) in the reverse order of removal.

   1. Tighten nut (13) to a torque of 9 ± 1 N·m (80 ± 9 lb in).

   2. Tighten nut (11) to a torque of 7.5 ± 0.5 N·m (66.38 ± 4.43 lb in).

   3. Tighten nut (10) to a torque of 21 ± 1 N·m (186 ± 9 lb in). Wait 0.5 hour and retorque nut (10) to a torque of 21 ± 1 N·m (186 ± 9 lb in).

   4. Tighten screws (1), (2), and (3) to a torque of 6 ± 1 N·m (53 ± 9 lb in).
