NOTICE

Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.


Note: Lubricate the O-ring seals and the check valve assemblies with the lubricant that is being sealed.

    Regenerative Valve Assembly

  1. Install check valve (43). Install O-ring seal (44) to cap (45). Apply Tooling (A) to cap (45). Install cap (45) and tighten to a torque of 400 ± 40 N·m (295 ± 30 lb ft). Repeat for the remaining cap assembly. Install 12 screws (47) and tighten until the first thread of the port is visible. Apply Tooling (A) to check valves (48). Install two check valves (48) and tighten to a torque of 80 ± 8 N·m (59 ± 6 lb ft). Install 15 O-ring seals (46).

    Intensifier Valve Assembly

    Note: When installing backup ring (40), ensure that the concave side is facing O-ring seal (37).

  2. Using Tooling (B), install backup rings (40), (39), (41), (42), and O-ring seals (36), (37), and (38). Apply Tooling (A) to bolts (35). Install cover (34) and bolts (35). Tighten bolts (35) to a torque of 50 N·m (37 lb ft), then retighten to a torque of 235 N·m (173 lb ft).

    Intensifier Valve Assembly

  3. Install O-ring seal (31) to plug (30). Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of plug (30). Install check valve (32) and plug (30). Tighten plug (30) to a torque of 100 ± 10 N·m (74 ± 7 lb ft). There are four sets of plugs, O-ring seals, and check valves in total. Install screw (33) and tighten until the first thread of the port is visible. There are 14 screws in total.

  4. Position intensifier valve assembly (29) to the regenerative valve assembly and install four bolts (28). Tighten bolts (28) to a torque of 145 ± 14 N·m (107 ± 10 lb ft).

    Sequence Valve Assembly

  5. Install five screws (26) and tighten until the first thread of the port is visible. Install O-ring seals (not shown) to plugs (27). Apply Tooling (A) to plugs (27) and install plugs (27). Tighten plugs (27) to a torque of 100 ± 10 N·m (74 ± 7 lb ft). There are two plugs in total. Install six O-ring seals (25).

  6. Position sequence valve assembly (24) to the intensifier valve assembly and install six bolts (23). Tighten bolts (23) to a torque of 42 ± 4 N·m (31 ± 3 lb ft).

    Relief Valve and Manifold assembly

  7. Install O-ring seal (not shown) onto relief valve (21). Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of relief valve (21). Install relief valve (21) and tighten to a torque of 40 ± 4 N·m (30 ± 3 lb ft).

  8. Install check valve (19). Install O-ring seal (20) to plug (22). Apply Tooling (A) to plug (22). Install plug (22) and tighten to a torque of 140 ± 40 N·m (103 ± 30 lb ft).

  9. Install O-ring seal (20A) to plug (22A). Apply Tooling (A) to plug (22A). Install plug (22A) and tighten to a torque of 270 ± 20 N·m (200 ± 15 lb ft).

  10. Install eight screws (18) and tighten until the first thread of the port is visible.

  11. Install O-ring seal (17) to plug (16) and install plug (16).

    Note: There are four plugs in total.

  12. Apply Tooling (A) to plug (14). Install O-ring seal (15) to plug (14) and install plug (14).

  13. Install O-ring seal (12) to check valve (13) and install check valve (13). Tighten check valve (13) to a torque of 100 ± 10 N·m (74 ± 7 lb ft). Install two screws (11) and two screws (7). Tighten the screws until the top thread of the port is visible. Install O-ring seal (8) to cap (9) and install cap (9). Tighten cap (9) to a torque of 220 ± 22 N·m (162 ± 16 lb ft). Install four O-ring seals (10).

  14. Position pilot valve assembly (6) to manifold (3) and install bolts (5). Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 43 ± 4 N·m (32 ± 3 lb ft). There are four bolts in total. Install manifold (3) to the regenerative valve assembly and install bolts (4). Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 43 ± 4 N·m (32 ± 3 lb ft). There are two bolts in total.

  15. Position plate (1) to manifold (3) (If Equipped). Apply Tooling (A) to thread of bolts (2). Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 12 ± 3 N·m (106 ± 26 lb in).
