Use Tooling (B) (not shown) to install valve assembly (12) into housing. Tighten valve assembly (12) to a torque of 5 ± 2 N·m (44 ± 10 lb in). Install set screw (13).

Slide valve assembly (12) on the filter housing. Orientate the face of housing level with the filter housing Location (X).

Apply Tooling (C) to O-ring seals (15) and install O-ring seals (15). Install Tooling (A) to oil filter assembly (10). Install filter housing into the tank. Align with previous orientation. Install bolts (9). Tighten bolts (9) to a torque of 50 ± 10 N·m (37 ± 7 lb ft).
