  1. Remove the bottom guard.

  2. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil - Change" for draining and filling procedures.

  3. Remove clamp (2). Remove flange (1).

  4. Disconnect harness assembly (3). Remove bolts (5). Remove flange (4).

  5. Remove pipe (6). Remove O-ring seal (7).

  7. Mark oil filter assembly (10) for installation. Remove bolts (9). Install Tooling (A) to oil filter assembly (10). Remove oil filter assembly (10).

  8. Loosen bolts (11). Remove housing (12).

  9. Remove set screw (13). Use Tooling (B) (not shown) to remove valve assembly (12).

  10. Remove O-ring seals (14).

Installation Procedure

  1. Apply Tooling (C) to O-ring seals (14). Install O-ring seals (14).

  2. Use Tooling (B) (not shown) to install valve assembly (12) into housing. Tighten valve assembly (12) to a torque of 5 ± 2 N·m (44 ± 10 lb in). Install set screw (13).

  3. Slide valve assembly (12) on the filter housing. Orientate the face of housing level with the filter housing Location (X).

  4. Install bolts (11). Tighten bolts (11) to a torque of 5 ± 2 N·m (44 ± 10 lb in).

  5. Apply Tooling (C) to O-ring seals (15) and install O-ring seals (15). Install Tooling (A) to oil filter assembly (10). Install filter housing into the tank. Align with previous orientation. Install bolts (9). Tighten bolts (9) to a torque of 50 ± 10 N·m (37 ± 7 lb ft).

  6. Apply Tooling (C) to O-ring seal (7) and pipe (6). Install O-ring seal (7). Install pipe (6).

  7. Apply Tooling (C) to O-ring seal (16). Install O-ring seal (16). Install flange (4). Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 50 ± 10 N·m (37 ± 7 lb ft). Connect harness assembly (3).

  8. Install flange (1). Install clamp (2).

  9. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil - Change" for draining and filling procedures.
