Usage:
Start By:
a. remove oil pan
1. Remove bolt (1). Bend the locks away from bolts (2). Remove bolts (2), suction tube assembly (3), and the gasket from between the suction tube flange and the oil pump.
2. Remove bolts (5), oil pan plate (4), and the gasket.
NOTE: The following steps are for the installation of the oil pan plate.
3. Inspect the oil pan plate gasket and make a replacement if necessary.
4. Install two 3/8 in-16 NC Guide Bolts in the block and put the gasket and oil pan plate (4) in position. Install bolts (5). Remove guide bolts.
5. Put the gasket between the suction tube flange and the oil pump in position. Put suction tube assembly (3) in position and install bolts (2) and the locks. Bend the locks against the bolts. Install bolt (1).
