Engine Oil Cooler

Usage:

Remove Engine Oil Cooler

preparatory step:

a) remove oil cooler bypass valve

1. Drain the cooling system. Drain the engine oil cooler.

2. Remove the four oil cooler water outlet line mounting bolts (1).

3. Remove the water outlet line (2).

4. Remove the turbocharger lubrication line clamp mounting bolt (5). Disconnect the turbocharger lubrication line (4) from oil cooler oil outlet line.

5. Remove the oil cooler outlet line (3).

6. Remove the water inlet elbow mounting bolts (6).

7. Install two 3/8"-16NC forged eyebolts in top of oil cooler. Remove the seven mounting bolts and one nut. Remove the engine oil cooler - weight 90 lbs. (41 kg).

Install Engine Oil Cooler

1. Attach a hoist and position the oil cooler on engine. Install the seven mounting bolts and nut.

2. Install the water inlet elbow-to-cooler mounting bolts.

3. Install the oil cooler oil outlet line.

4. Connect the turbocharger lubrication line to the oil cooler oil outlet line. Install the turbocharger lubrication line clamp mounting bolt.

5. Install the oil cooler water outlet line.

6. Install water outlet line mounting bolts.

7. Fill the cooling system. Check the oil level in engine crankcase.

a) install oil cooler bypass valve
