Start By:

  1. Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".

  1. Remove bolts (2). Repeat for the opposite side of the machine.

  2. Remove cover (1) from the machine.

  3. Remove plate (3).

  4. Attach a suitable lifting device to blade lift cylinder (4). The weight of blade lift cylinder (4) is approximately 91 kg (200 lb).

  5. Remove bolts (5) and caps (7).

  6. Use the suitable lifting device in order to position blade lift cylinder (4) on front frame assembly (6). Secure blade lift cylinder (4) to the front frame assembly (6).

  7. Attach a suitable lifting device to centershift cylinder (8).

  8. Remove bolts (9) and cap (10).

  9. Use the machine to retract centershift cylinder (8). Use the suitable lifting device in order to lower centershift cylinder (8) to the drawbar (11).

  10. Attach a suitable lifting device to blade lift arm (12). The weight of blade lift arm (12) is approximately 113 kg (250 lb).

  11. Remove bolts (13) and lock (15).

  12. Remove pin (14).

  13. Remove bolts (17) and lock (18).

  14. Remove bolt (20) and the plate.

  15. Remove pin (19).

  16. Remove four thrust washers (16) (not shown).

  17. Use the suitable lifting device in order to remove blade lift arm (12).

  18. Remove bolts (21) and retainer (22).

  19. Remove seal (23) and shims (24).

  20. Partially remove yoke (27) from blade lift arm (12).

  21. Use two people in order to remove yoke (27) from blade lift arm (12). The weight of yoke (27) is approximately 23 kg (50 lb).

  22. Remove washers (25) and seals (26).

  23. Remove bearings (28).

  24. Remove lip seals (29).

    Note: Note the orientation of lip seals (29) for assembly purposes.

  25. Install Tooling (A) and support Tooling (A) with a suitable lifting device. Remove bearings (30).
